
Marvin Shaw
is the president and co-founder of Global Earth Services Inc. He
is a graduate of Ridgetown College of Agricultural Technology and
has managed dairy, beef, and cash crop farm operations in Ontario
for over thirty years. He was an elected delegate to the Ontario
Cattleman’s Association representing the interests of his
county beef producers at the local and provincial level for several
years. He has also served as an elected representative in municipal
and county government in his community for ten years with much of
his effort dedicated towards municipal planning and environmental
issues. In this capacity, he has established a strong respect and
report with provincial agencies and regulators in municipal and
environmental matters.
In 2000, Mr.
Shaw developed and established a research and development department
for a private sector company specializing in heat transfer technologies.
His work resulted in the initiation of some innovative advancement
in applications of existing heat transfer technologies as well as
new product development.
Mr. Shaw has
designed and developed the thermal energy recovery system that Global
Earth Services can now install into its composting facilities. He
has designed several aerobic composting facilities with meticulous
attention to all the necessary components of organic decomposition
including solid, liquid and air process treatments and management.
Mr. Shaw believes
that environmental stewardship is everyone’s responsibility
and he is committed towards working in collaboration with agricultural,
industrial and government interests to provide sound economic solutions
to the many diversified and challenging environmental issues that
we now share.
