One of the advanced
elements that Global Earth Services can incorporate into the facility
design is an innovative heat extraction system that can recapture
much of the by-product heat energy created by microbial activity
in the decomposition process. When biomass is referred to in the
context of an alternative energy source, the material is most often
burned; however it has been estimated that up to 80% more of the
heat energy can be recaptured from the same volume of mass when
extracted in a biomass decomposition process.
Global Earth
Services has successfully completed the challenge of the interfacing
the science of compost biology with the heat extraction technology
resulting in a unique floor design that ensures compatibility between
the compost aeration and the heat recapture systems.
Global Earth
Services can design a heat extraction, storage and distribution
system to best utilize the recaptured heat energy as a value-added
benefit to the composting operation. A composting operation can
now serve as a biomass energy system. This heat energy can be utilized
as an alternative energy source in a wide variety of applications
such as heating farm workshops, livestock barns, greenhouse structures
or even to dry down corn. In fact, it can be utilized to heat commercial
and institutional facilities within specific parameters - wherever
large volumes of hot water may be in demand.
Global Earth
Services will also provide ongoing, extensive managerial services
and technical support to its clients, to ensure the operational
success of the facility through startup of the composting operations.
This service can be tailored to meet the client’s needs.
Global Earth
Services in cooperation with Global Earth Products, has designed
facilities ranging from 20 tonne/week to 100 tonne/day, complete
with heat extraction systems to recapture heat of decomposition
as an alternative energy source.
Global Earth
Services can now provide environmental solutions for organic waste
disposition which produces a value-added saleable compost product,
while recapturing a heat resource that when reused, significantly
alters the economic forces within the composting industry.

Global Earth Products
and Global Earth Services view the word “waste” as a
verb rather than a noun: that is to say all organic materials serve
as a valuable contributor to the sustainability of the eco-system
when reused to create a high quality compost product and a renewable
source of recoverable heat energy !!
