Global Earth Products (“GEP”) is a company that identifies, develops and commercializes green technology solutions. GEP’s mission is to build a portfolio of companies with unique and innovative solutions that are either commercial or on the verge of becoming commercial products and/or services. 

Targets range from early-stage to commercially successful companies but with an emphasis on those that have a proven solution and are ready for full commercialization. 

Companies are acquired by GEP and then professionally managed and nurtured to commercial success. Portfolio companies will either be retained by GEP or sold if GEP can realize a very good return on the investment made. 

GEP was founded by Tom Smith in 1994 to develop and commercialize a proprietary composting system called MARVEL that he invented and patented.
